Laird Qualifications

Laird Consulting is a member of MEMA, RMFMA, PFMA and are actively involved in many of the other national Fleet organizations.

Maggie Laird:
Maggie is the owner of Laird Consulting and brings nearly 30 years experience specializing in fleet and fuel management business solutions. She has a diverse knowledge of fleet practices in both the Public and Private arenas. She leads workshops, seminars, and individual client training classes dealing with both types of systems internationally. She also conducts feasibility studies, management reviews, and custom tailors the reference materials and training classes for their clients. Maggie’s experience in process flow, customer support, project management, implementation assistance, parts inventory control, system design, and analysis enables her to provide expertise in assisting with planning and all other phases of fully utilizing fleet software.

Bob Laird:
Bob brings over 30 years experience in the fleet management and accounting arenas. He has a diverse knowledge of Utility and Governmental fleets. Bob has a keen eye for what can be improved and the analytical skills to determine what can be done to achieve the goals. He conducts gap analyses, budget projections, management reviews, and inventory control setup for clients. He helps establish the baselines for fleet system coding, policies, and procedures.

Shawna Laird:
Shawna brings 10 years experience in fleet, fuel, and inventory system setup and implementation support. She has a working knowledge of fleet management and fuel management systems in Governmental, Transit, and Private Fleets, in both United States and Canada. Her background allows her to provide a hand-on approach to help the client become fully operational. She has experience in designing the layout of the parts rooms for best work flow and has conducted many audits for vehicles, equipment, and inventory for asset control.

Vicki Allen:
Vicki has over twenty-one years of fleet and fuel management experience with utility and law enforcement fleets. She has been an on-site consultant to upper management, extended officials within local government and the media. Her ability to accurately project Preventive Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance and facility cost for fixed budget proposals, fleet utilization studies, monthly and year end cost analysis reports resulted in her site being chosen three consecutive years as one of "The 100 Best Fleets in North America". Vicki has utilized her hands-on experience to train other sites in the application of fleet tracking and maintenance software, as well as fuel management operations in compliance with state and federal mandates. She has been a member of the National Association of Fleet Managers since 1997.

Bill Allen:
Bill is a twenty-two year career veteran of the U.S. Air Force with experience in computer seismic data interpretation which included writing procedural manuals and reporting site information to ranking officials both within the United States and abroad. A second career in local government as a Computer System Analyst provided Bill with over fifteen years of experience in the implementation of new computer applications, writing procedural manuals and training groups on new software programs, data retrieval, trouble shooting, customer service and P C repair. Bill Allen is the connection between installation and application.
